    Default Ringer Barrier 1 Gloves

Our station doesn't pay for extrication gloves, and I tried these on and loved them.

Anyone know where a cheap place to get them would be?

Any help would be great, we've got 3 or 4 guys that would like them.

    Thanks!

I got some from chiefsupply.com, they have a ton of Ringer gloves as well as the Shelby Xtrication Gloves.

Cool, thanks! Do you like Shelby's better or worse? Never seen them up close.

I've had them both. Neither held up very well. Given a choice between the two, I would use the Shelby's. The Ringer's Barrier gloves were probably the worst of those that I've used. The biggest problem I've had with the Ringer's barrier gloves is that they cause your hands to sweat more then any other. If you remove them, it is difficult to put them back on. This gets to be a real pain if you are spending a day training. Recently I noticed a tear in one finger after only using them about 10 times.

Personally, I'm shopping around for another brand.

Like stated above, ringers fit tight so they do make your hands sweat for sure. Besides that ive never had any problems. The shelby's arnt as snug as the ringers, I like snug gloves because I can feel more. Hahaha sounds like we are talking about condoms!

I would just buy a pair of decent gloves and wear medical gloves under them.
