Default Riverdale VFD 807 does it again

    See this link: Click Here

(In the event that the video goes down, it can be reuploaded to youtube, just shoot me a PM)

With all of the bad publicity, I would have thought the boys from Riverdale 807 would have grown up. Perhaps that's a little too far fetched, but after having arson indictments served on two (former) members, the bad publicity involving Engle, setting probationary fireman on fire intentionally, that maybe they'd be a little wiser then they act....

Watch the video, and you'll see nothing short of child endangerment, abuse of government property, blatant disregard for motor vehicle laws, endangering of firefighters, and many dangerous acts that will make you shake your head. I don't know what's worse, the fact that the fire department posts something like this on YouTube, or the fact that their B-Chief, Jay Johns, takes an active roll in this event.

Is there ANYTHING responsible in that video? Let's start with the guys riding in the back of the pickup-truck. Anyone else notice the BABY riding on top of snow pile in the bed also? How about the guys in their turnout gear riding down the road?

I can only say that I'm ashamed by the actions of the volunteers that are shown in that video. Riverdale has a crew of great firefighters, but the actions of a few really tarnish their actions. If you wanted to go sledding, you should have gone and found a hill.

While that does look fun, and maybe I would be tempted to try it, they are moronic to do it in FD issued clothing, and on public streets. If you want to do this, do it on some farm in street clothes and do not post on youtube. There is something called public image, and once you break it apart, you cant put it back together again.

I guess they were trying to generate their own medical calls. Sounds like they were drunk too....

I'm beginning to think they dont want jobs or even a FD there anymore. Folks rely on the FD's whether volunteer or paid to be ready when they need them. From the sounds of things on the snow day thread many went through the storm with only a few incidents, but what would have happened if they got hurt doing this, and a fire was toned out while providing care to the ffs? Looked like fun, but never do this in FD issued gear and with a baby on the back of a truck and then put it on you tube. I would say someone or several will pay for this and now the higher ups have proof. So stupid.

This area must be home to one of those branch routes that evolution took that is guaranteed to come to nothing. They are pretty close already.

dopes, nothing wrong with going out and having fun, but why do you need to associate it with the FD? Don't wear FD gear and don't post it under "what bored firefighters do for fun"

get a life, not everything you do needs to be FD related

Please don't re post. Many on here are aware that a certain group or groups in that area are in the gene pool that has been peed in. Don't need any confirmation of this established fact.

I agree with the others. Everyone already knows what a bunch of (pardon the pun) flaming a s s holes these guys are, so just let it die. Seek out Statter's website if you would like to see it.

Besides Bou, you would go into cardiac arrest at the sight of all the snow.
