Well said, my good man. Not only are you a grant guru, but you also have my respect as a broker of well thought meaning.

A happy and safe holiday season to all the Grant Writers AND those serving and the families of those who serve who also sleep restlessly.

Its just entirely too bad that the current combatants cannot extend a 24 hour cease fire for Xmas like what used to happen in WWII. Of course when you can only recognize one religion and wish "death to the infidels" outside your faith, well...

Even with the recent years of economic and political turmoil in the world, we are indeed lucky to live in this great country.
A special thank you to our military heroes serving to protect our freedoms throughout the world and their families. Stay safe and return home soon.
Merry Christmas to all and best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
The kids were making a ruckus, like 4 wildcats chasing a mouse
They hung their stockings, and decorated the tree
Asking where's Santa, they keep pestering me
As I put them to bed and tell them to sleep
I sneak to my computer to check and see
If the AFG Santa has been good to me
    Alas, no 1199A
Or reductions posted for me today
As I ponder the past year, these thoughts in my head I hear
With all I've done, Have I really been naughty or nice
I hope the reviewers like my grant program and price
It's time to stop dreaming of grants, tools and training props for the firehouse boys
And start assembling my kids Christmas toys
As I log off, I sigh and say
Maybe tommorrow will be the day

Merry Christmas to you and your families. May we all have a blessed, happy and healthy new year!!!

I laughed out loud while reading this, and was afraid I had woke up my wife who is sleeping behind me in our motel room.

May our Lord and Savior give you all peace and joy this holiday season.

Now award me my last submitted 1199.

Amen jam. (except for waking up your wife...or mine, she's still up)

Merrry Christmas to all y'all. You each are a gift to my department for what you help us do and all have been part of each grant we've been awarded.

    Oh AFG, Oh AFG,
When will you spread your bounty!
I've laid awake and dreamed of things,
    My Depart needs so badly.

    I've done the work,
    Submitted my app,
    I've chewed my nails til none are left;

    Oh AFG, Oh AFG,
When will you spread your bounty
