    Default 26 years ago...

    26 years ago today...on December 27th, 1983... the Buffalo Fire Department sent a full first alarm assignment to a building at the intersection of North Division and Grovesnor for a report of a propane tank leaking at 20:23 hours. An explosion occurred all 5 firemen from Truck 5 were killed instantly.

    RIP Firefighters Mike Austin, Mickey Catanzaro, Red Lickfeld, Tony Waszkielewicz, and Matty Colpoys.
