12/27- Riverside City, CA FF/PM Passes Away

These type of postings are getting hard and harder to write. Today I learned another friend and former co-worker passed away from cancer.

On Sunday, Riverside City Firefighter/Paramedic Eric Botkin passed succumbed to his fight with cancer. I do not know if this is classified as a LODD yet. More information to follow.

Side note- I have been in the fire service about 23 years and this is another friend/co-worker that has passed away from cancer. With tears in my eyes, I just dont know what to say?

Words never seem to be right or enough. This is yet another tragic loss.
