    Default backpack

    Looking for a good rugged pack to hold some basic TRT stuff; helmet, some rope, basic hardware (1/2 dozen beaners, rescue 8, couple of pulleys), harness, tools and hydration system. We are a city department, very rarely trek through the woods, but be nice to be prepared.

    Looked at Osprey packs, rather expensive, but nice. Any other suggestions?

    I personally use, and so does our team, the EVAC SAR Pak. If you need more information, let me know. jason@jbrescue.com. This bag can hold a ton of things.

    My Dept. has used the SAR pack for years and love them.

    I use a Raven High Angle as my personal gear pack. I also convinced the Chief to get a Tarp Ex for our Team gear. Been using mine for a year now and its holding up great.
