Florida Volunteer Fire Departments?

Can anyone list a few departments in florida that I can volunteer for. My cert has a year left and I dont want to get caught last minute with no where to go. I live in miami but Im willing to drive. Thanks

Key Largo and Palm Beach County come to mind.

I think maybe Plantation and Southwest Ranches in Broward have volunteers.

How about in the Central Florida Area?

hillsborough county, polk county, some in pinellas county (treasure island)

Apopka and Volusia county

Flagler County
City of Bunnell
St John's county
Lake county

Plantation you must reside within the city to work for last I heard anyways.
Key Largo
Lauderdale by the Sea
Palm Beach County
Palm Beach Gardens

Highlands County

All the departments in Manatee County have volunteers and some have "part time" firefighters. A buddy worked part time for one. He earned $100 a shift.

Many other coastal cities do it, those are the big ones I listed

As far as the Orlando/Orange county area, there are no volunteer departments with the exception of Apopka. If you're looking to volunteer, it is gonna be a drive. In addition, expect a waiting list.
