Default Don't let the bedbugs bite--seriously

Many of you may have heard about the resurgence of bedbug outbreaks in recent years. I know there are lots of regular travelers on these forums, so in the interest of keeping you critter-free, here's a site that has known infestations mapped by hotel/apartment site in the entire US.

    www.bedbugregistry.com

I am proud to note that Kentucky is bedbug-free right now, and I got a kick out of noting that an infested site in Pigeon Forge, TN is Aunt Bug's Cabin Rentals. You can't make up stuff like this. Makes me want to reconsider staying at the Montezuma Inn.

These are nasty little buggers (no pun intended)...

We had them at a former rental. I think they were coming up from our landlords place below. Lucky that they only prefered the taste of me instead of my wife and newborn daughter.

When we moved I figured we would still see a few, but we took all the precations that experts recommended and didn't have any problems.

I never would have guessed there was such a thing as a bed bug registry, but I guess with them on the rise it makes sense.

Grandma always said bedbugs don't like the taste of black walnut.

You might also wanna avoid the Royal Inn in Paducah.Known locally as the "Crown Royal" for a reason,it's the kind of place where if you want to watch "Cops",you just have to take a chair out on the balcony.
