Got a guy like that on my dept, we call him "Hacksaw". Ran across someone he dated in the past and she asked if I knew him (she used his name) and I said, "Hacksaw sure I know him". When she finally understood what a hacksaw will do she turned 10 shades of red and yelled "NOT ME!"

    Cool

lol "And then there was another structure fire. Police on-scene reported heavy smoke showing. I went in and stamped out the newspaper with my foot." lmfao this has NEVER happened with my old County FD...
And of course "And I have lots of bitchin stickers on my car so people know, even off-duty, that I am a cool, bad-*** fire-slayer." I have 2 stickers on mine. A generic FF one and a specific Engine Co one. I am double the bad-*** cool fire-slayer... lmao
My opinions might coincide with someone of importance's POV... I wouldn't know, since I never bothered to ask. My policy is: "Don't ask, don't care."

That video is probably the most accurate portrayal of modern firemen around. If you don't feel at least a little guilty after watching it or are unable to point "that guy" out, he's probably you.
Equally tragic and hilarious... because it's true.

    ...also...

"Truckmen are cool" - this statement is the best way to tell that the rest of the video is factual.

I will be the first to say Been there at one point or another, maybe i jumped the guns saying that would start a 40 page debate something totally irrelevant to that video.

Nope, I have never seen that guy in my life.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Are there really guys like that out there?

I would say ME, but I lack the cool tatts, call volume (but what I DO get is usually at least somewhat interesting! ), and definitely not affording the kickass "Fire-Slayer" speedboat on Fed salary! lol.
Also, I don't think truck-monkeys are all that special (not to be confused with TRUNK-monkey, which is actually a really useful thing to have around!). lol

    So how's that for trolling?

That video was great. Some bums got a ride in an ambulance for two blocks even though they can't pay. HAHAHA

That was pretty good. I wish we could get that call volume in a day. Right now we're lucky to get a call a week. And that sf when the cops called heavy smoke showing and its a news paper burning that is true here.!!!
