Ooooooooooooh the Dems are scared
Fresh on the heels of the latest poll showing the Democratic Senatorial candidate in Massachusetts trailing, the Dems/liberals/progressives are shaking and truly afraid of Tuesday's election. Living here in the People's Republik this is so freaking fun to watch.
Vikki Kennedy made an ad pushing for Martha Coakley to fill Teddy's seat. Bill Clinton visits Boston and Worcester today. President Obama visits Boston on Sunday (a last minute decision) after making a "robocall" message for Ms. Coakley yesterday. Man this is so freaking fun to watch.
The number of absentee ballots in every community has skyrocketed (no way of knowing who they are voting for, of course.) Reports of people stealing Scott Brown for Senate signs , just to put on their lawns.
The video of Martha Coakley looking at a "Right Wing" reporter on the ground after one of her big supporters pushed him down is hurting her. Too good to be true.
Even if Mr. Brown loses on Tuesday (and it will be a VERY closely watched squeaker of an election) to make the Dems blow untold millions on a race that they expected to win hands down is precious.
The Boston Herald reports that Scott Brown has raised $1,000,000 per day this week with an average donation amount reported to be about $78. While Martha Coakley had to fly to D.C. to get $10,000 per person from insurance companies and pharmaceutical lobbyists and corporate big wigs.
Unlike the Virginia and New Jersey elections which President Obama was not "watching closely" I can guarantee you that he will be biting his nails on Tuesday and Wednesday. A better novel could not be written on this.
Tuesday will be a late night. And with all eyes on Massachusetts due to the special election to fill "Ted Kennedy's seat" as the media loves to call it, it will be dicey.
So fun to watch.
