    Lightbulb 2009 AFG Cost Allowances

As the process has been going on I have been compiling a list of funding limits on various AFG equipment etc., based on what has been posted or gleamed through applications. I have posted what I have compiled to date. You will see that some items show the max. based on a reduction and the rest based on the highest figure seen. If you have anything to add post it and I'll update the list. Hopefully, by the time 2010 AFG arrives a substantial list can be deveolped so folks will know what limits will be acceptable.

Please post changes based on a reduction in the budget or have recieved a 1199A that would dispute the highest figure posted.

    1) Please stick to 2009 awards.

    2) If you post something that has been reduced if you could mark as such, that way I can put it on the list as the max. amount.

    3) If you supply info on apparatus just provide a small description so it can be catergorized better. Have 2-2009 quick attack units, both with reduced amounts that are different. Maybe 1 has CAFS the other not, maybe 1 is 2 door and the other 4 door for ex.

    Onebugle-

Great assistance for all! I'll add my items for you:

    4" LDH, 100' $550.00 per
    1.5 or 1.75" 50' (I'm leaning 1.75 for reduced friction loss) $125.00 per
    2.5" 50' $160.00 per
Portable master stream device (1250 gpm) $4,000.00
    Hose storage rack $2,000.00

None were reduced, actual requested amounts.

My reduction was AED's to the $2,500.00

Keep up the GREAT work! Provides a lot of assistance for all!

Here's some things I have 1199a with no reduction on but are higher than you have listed or are things you don't have...

    2.5" stacked tip nozzles- $650
    1 3/4" hose- $235 (50' section)

I knew this had been done in the past, but couldn't remember who did it.

    A couple of other things:

    1) Please stick to 2009 awards.

    2) If you supply info on apparatus just provide a small description so it can be catergorized better. Have 2-2009 quick attack units, both with reduced amounts that are different. Maybe 1 has CAFS the other not, maybe 1 is 2 door and the other 4 door for ex.

    Bugle,

The quick attack/mini pumper, wrote by BC79er was stated in the narrative like this...."This apparatus will consist of a diesel engine, 4x4 chassis, 4 doors, automatic transmission, 300 gallon water supply and a single line C.A.F.S. system, with a rescue style body."
There was no reduction in the amount requested of $140,000 ($7,000 dept match $133,000 fema funds)

As far as this years stuff I will go back to my earlier post and post next to it the original amount requested and the amount reduced to.

All these items were reduced for 2009

    Wildland coat...................$200.
    Wildland pants..................$189.
    Wildland boots..................$300.
    Wildland Helmet................$48.
    Wildland Goggles...............$38.
    Canteens...................... ..$66.
    Fire Shelters....................$3 85.
    Pack/Harness...................$93.

My regional communications equipment was not reduced and am holding my breath that it isn't even though I have sent in my 10 Q's.

Some have had repeaters reductions that were lower than what I was allowed. There may be a reason however with all that is involved with a repeater.

That's where ours got reduced to a couple of years ago. It appears they've not changed it.
