Default Used Command Apparatus for Sale?

Looking for used command vehicle, 4x4, with under 100k miles. Looking to see if anyone is going to be selling in the next 2-6 months.

Our state's surplus property division gets several federal surplus SUV's with 60K or less miles that go for under $15K. Been trying to talk my vollie department's board into looking at one as a command/first response vehicle and putting a command console in the rear, just can't get them to bite yet.

My vol dept bought a 2005 Chevy Tahoe (80,000 miles) off of ebay for $8900 18 months ago we put an additional $4000 worth of tires, lights, lettering, consoles and BLS equipment on it. We run it as a command / first responder vehicle. So far it has been a real good purchase. It was a retired military police vehicle, we've had to fix a few things on it due to its previous life's misuse but all in all we got a good vehicle for a cheap price.

We also use the Tahoe for personnel to use it for travel to all outside training and meetings instead of doing fuel reimbursement. It sometimes takes away from the command vehicle aspect but, we make due until we can get another staff vehicle. We also use it to run any department errand.
