Default Any car/motorcycle guys on here?

I'm a gear head to the core. I know quite a few people in this line of work who are, so I thought I would ask Firehouse.com.

What do you drive/race/cruise? How long have you been into it? Got any plans for your baby?

For me its actually one of my side jobs. My dad and I restore classic cars and sell them for profit. It's actually as much of a dominating aspect of my lifestyle as the Emergency Services.

I've owned quite a few different cars... Mach 1s, Camaro's, a GTO... even an 05 stage 2 Subaru STI for a while. Right now though I've got a 74 Nova that started as a simple restoration project that has turned into a bit of a track beater. A semi-built 355 with a bottle of nitrous backed with a 700r4.

    What about you?

My toy is a 2006 Mustang GT. She only has 11,813 miles on the odometer and stays stored in her "paddock" for winter.

My pride and joy...Started stock, bought some stuff, fabricated some stuff...This pic is about midway through the mods.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to sell her...Being out of work (other than volunteering) for a year makes it a bit hard to pay the payments.

There are a few of us LT1 guys still out here lol. Sounds like a pretty stout LT1.

Had it 4 years now I believe... had a 95 LT1 before this.

MTi used to sponsor my 98' back when i still raced it. Me and 9ball were among the first to ever do the FRA and other free mods.
Ran 11.56 on the stock motor with just bolt ons and 11.97 still using the stock exhaust manifolds.
After heads and C1 and then C2 cams (the "C" from MTI cams comes from my last name) with the addition of MTI's Stage 2 heads i went 10.6 at 127 with 1.3 60's.
Yank converters/transmissions helped the car really scoot outta the hole. The ownwer Mike Senia really is a good guy.

I had a LT1 like you before the LS1. Started out a 94Z28 M6 and ended up a Paxton then a 12 ribbed-12 pounds of Procharger supercharged 9 injector, 355 ci hot rod complete with a moser nodular 9".
That car on the spray with 12 pounds of SC boost was just nasty back in the late 90's.

P.S., my 98' weighs a LOT less than your 4th gen.
P.S. the 98 times are with out nitrous

Nineball right? (LS1tech, PlanetLSX?) I know PSJ (I'm part of the MFBA) and see Nineball around the forums daily.

Really stout setups you have listed...wow... I just have a near stock daily driver. Your bolton times are giving me the itch now. haha

Nineball (Tony) was part of our little HRP racing group...PSJ was one of them non believing yankees, then he became a LS1 believer.

Man, those were the good ol days...before Fast and Furious ruined everything.

If ya get a chance tell em' i said Howdy.

    LOL!
Its about 9 years too late but i am glad he finally got to see what was possible with a LS1. Man, we used go round and round with some of the members of MFBA. They pretty much called us liars everyway to sunday.
I agree some of the times we were posting were hard to swallow but they were what we were running.

That is good to know that he finally got to see the truth in what we were saying. FWIW, 10.6 w/a 1.3 60 on a heads/cam/exhaust daily driver was the shiznitts in 2000.

Those 4th gen cars were and i think still are amazing. I love the new F-bodies i just wish they did not weigh so freaking much!
