January 29th with over 600 awards is what my gut is telling me or is that just something I ate last night that doesn't agree with me.

Tasted like chicken to me.

This week for awards, closer to 1,000 is my guess. No DJ's for at least 10-12 days following (Feb 16 looks like DJ date to me--after Valentine's Day). A few more 10q's and 1199a's this week so the proper flow can start.

That's my story and i'm stickin' to it.

I received an e-mail last Thrusday from my region rep and she indicated that they are hopeful that awards will start this week.

More like 200 average. Only 5000 awards so I don't see them knocking it all out in 1. They did the same a couple of years ago when it was a September release instead of the usual July announcement. 2006 maybe? They all run together after a while.

So about half of what the original rumor mill was claiming. 926 is just fine though for round 1

2005 Round 1 was 2038 awards.

Anyone know or heard if they are releasing vehicle grants today? If so, how many? What will round 2 be have in store as far as vehicles? Looks like several Ops are rolling out!
