Also, just heard today that they hired one. I was told they are right around #15 on the list, could just be a rumor.

I talked to the city clerk Mrs. Laser on Feb 3rd, and she told me they are up to number 13 on the list. She also said they have only hired two people. 7 spots are still open.

Any news or updates? Heard rumor that they just offered a position to someone in the Flint area and he turned it down.

I was told by the city clerk that two people have been offered positions. This was in February. She did not say if they accepted. She told me they were up to number 15 on the list. She didn't say anything about the other candidates that were already interviewed other than some were not hirable for one reason or another. I know they are interviewing the next five people on the list the week of April 18th because I have an interview. I am not sure if it is numbers 15-20, or 16-21. This is the latest info that has been given to me. I am not sure how many they still plan to hire, or if the loss of state revenue sharing will impact the process.
