    Default Proper PPE

Does anyone know or have the correct list of what NY State requires us to wear for proper PPE. For example, we were informed that "bailout bags" are now required. Thanks!!

Thanks for the info about the bail-out bags! Is there a list out there of NFPA and OSHA standards that define the requirements regarding the exact requirements for a set of turnout gear to be acceptable? (i.e., age of gear, nomex hood, etc.) Also, are voice amplifiers a requirement in SCBA facemasks?

go to the NFPA website, create a free account and you can read all of the standards online. You can't print or save them, but you can read them.
