    Unhappy Show me the MONEY!

    Where is my Award email?

    Must mean nothing in January.

Hmmmm. If we wait too long the first round of awards will be after the opening of AFG2010? NOT GOOD!

The award list is posted under 2008 awards. Go figure...another computer glitch? Also it does not fully go through alphabetically; jumps from F to S....so check the entire list.

The 2008 list is back up minus the 2009 awards. Hopefully the AFG will have the actual 2009 list up in short order.

Did they award a bunch of ladder trucks?

    I found 4 $750,000 projects, $600,000 grant, $150,000 match

    San Carlos California
    Euclid Ohio
    Kentland Fire - Landover Maryland
    Vineland New Jersey

I see where Alabama has started out strong again. They wear it out down there.

Looked decently widespread, ours were all across the map. Will be hard to top a day like today though, hit 83 direct written awards for just short of $5.5mil and 36 workshop attendees wrote for another $3.6mil. 109 on the day ain't bad, but hopefully it isn't repeated because they get back on track with starting in July instead of a whole load 9 months after submission...

And I found 2 others for big money--Frackville, PA and Wallingford, CT. Ladder trucks with bigger applicant match? Rescue trucks?

Most likely aerials based on the areas served. Kentland's tower looks older, and from what I can tell off their web site the rescue-engine is newer and they aren't getting into the heavy rescue game.

So Brian, I'm taking this as your biggest results day ever with AFG applications. If it is, and with respect; Well Done SIR!

(2009 was a big year for you in many areas)

Nah, I have a real suspicion that those IT folks are doing they best they can with what they have. And that they read this forum. Seems as soon as an issue is raised here, it gets fixed insofar as the web page. Fast.

Did you see the towns of Doe Run. I think one of the states wasGeorgia or alabama. Each one got an ops and a vehicle award. For a second it looked like one town got 2 vehicle awards and 2 ops awards.

    Just an interesting eye catcher.

There are lots of DHS lurkers around here, they are quick on the corrections since most of the time someone out here finds the problems before they do.

Thanks Jim, this was our biggest run, and will be. 788 apps with over 300 showing reductions or 1199As before this morning and found 10 that we didn't have logins for that funded. This is so much better than living the old Dilbert life, people getting what they need to be safe on the job.
