    Default Station Clocks

Hi everyone...We added on to our station last year which included a new meeting room. I am looking for some unique ideas for a clock. There doesn't seem to be much on line to purchase so I thought some of you might have found some or built some out of fire equipment or something else.

    Thanks

Most guys outgrow such juvenile tendencies by the time they're in their early 20's.

MTFR, as for clocks, does your station have any running "theme" {besides the obvious} in the rest of the house? Maybe just continue with that in the new meeting room. I'm sure there are several unique ideas out there on the internet.

In my old Vol hall, in our meeting room we had a wooden wall clock that was donated by the CPR when the station was opened just after 1906. As far as I know, its made the journey to the latest station and still keeps time> Bit of a link with the past.

My favorite whacker store,Our Designs ( http://www.ourdesigns.com ) ,has clocks that you might be interested in.Of course, you could just go with the ones found at the local Wally World. They might not have any FF motif but I bet they keep time just as well.

Thanks to those with the serious input...I didn't see anything on the internet I liked and I was looking for something way more unique than what companies like Our Desighs has. The photo ideas are good, anymore good ideas will be very much appreciated.

Why not get atomic clocks. That way you will not have to reset it every time day light savings time begins and ends.

Most 9-1-1 centers use them as well.

There are plenty of "clocks" in the firehouse... some are mounted on the wall to indicate time, others get on the rigs and respond to calls!
