Greetings. I am looking to purchase a basket(stokes) stretcher and found a great deal on the Ferno Gazelle Steel Basket Stretcher. I was wondering if anyone has used this before? I also wanted to know what the bottom of the device is like, is it flat steel or tubes which run the length of it? Fernos' website has pics but none of the bottom. I will be primarily using it for water/ice rescue so it would easily slide out of the ice or onto a boat or dock. Thanks in advance for your input and be safe.
