    Default ESS Goggle install

I just got a pair of ESS Innerzone 2 goggles and have a question about the install. I am replacing a faceshield with these goggles. On the bottom of the face shield mount are 2 clips that screw to the face shield mount and hold the suspension system into the helmet. I assume that I need these but the ESS speed clips are incompatible with these clips. Should I just put a couple small nuts and lock washers on the top to secure the clips? This is on a Cairns 1010 if that matters.

Yes, Cairns would use small acorn nuts.

I just picked up a 1044 with the facesheild but I much prefer goggles. I tend to prefer bourkes and goggles. Was looking at the ESS goggles for Cairn but can't see how exactly it'll mount onto the 1044. need to just order them and then see i guess.

The ESS goggles I mounted on my 1010 simply clamped to the brim (with screws). The mount for the faceshield got acorn nuts (brass).
Opinions my own. Standard disclaimers apply.
