page shows up now. Recommending not to proceed to the portal. This does not happen after I put in my unsername and password, but when opening the e application protal itself.
I've had this happen before, but damn if I can remember what I did. It doesn't look like something put up by the AFG people.
Is anybody else experiencing this at this time? If not I'm gonna wait a few hours and proceed on. May ask someone here to put in my id and password and see if they get in alright.

Happens to me from time to time on my office computer, but never from home. My guess is that with the tighter settings our sys admin uses here at the office and i'm pretty loose at home--if they are doing any mainentance at the FEMA portal the web cert may not appear as secure as it usually is. I've always hit:
<continue, i don't really care if it's safe i just want to log in and check my 1199a for the 15th time today--now hurry it up!!>
At least i think that is one of the choices. I'm usually too busy being frustrated to read them all!!
earl (do ya think i should cut back on the coffee and sugar???)

I received an email from Pinky at AFG. Saying FEMA puts it on there. Just a reminder for them to renew the security certificate. Said was all right to continue on to log in area.
(I knew they were responsibile)

Jim; I thought it was just me. Did you have any luck by hitting continue? They sent me an Post Award Orientation Form to fill out. I have never got one of those before. Oh well, I guess their server took a snow day.

If all else fails, type "https://portal.fema.gov" into the URL field instead of "http://portal.fema.gov"...that's what got me in this morning.

For those of you using Firefox I did not get the continue option, I had to open in IE and then continue tab was there.
