not looking good on the vehicle side, no 10q or 1199 yet :-(
Does the system being down have anything to do with more 1199s or DJs going out?

Probably has more to do with catching up with the original 1199A notifications. Original estimates were 3,000 were sent out in the beginning. With 2400 awards there still exists around 600 remaining which equals 1 round of awards. There is at least 2,000 more 1199A's to be sent based on 5,000 awards for 2009. That means we should be seeing another flurry of 1199A's real soon.
As for DJ's they have to be dropping sooner than later probably waiting for that final approval.

SD Awards
22 in first 2 rounds...nothing since. Glad ours was round 1, our county got 3 of these for roughly $150,000 worth of equipment.

Regional awards?
Has anyone noticed in looking through the awards any regional grants being awarded to date this year? In my quick glances I haven't noticed any being awarded.

Well!!! I can tell you from experience that if you ask for a Tanker/Pumper $190,000 is all you are going to get! I just got off the phone and was denied the request for more money! ($15,000) But... oh well!! just have to the trim the budget back this year! Still getting a new truck
thats all that matters!

Yes! i had requested $245,000 and got a reduction! That was an error on my part but I was not aware of the stiff price increase due to EPA interferance and did not know that there would be a reduction when I submitted the grant from the start. But...still happy we got the award and thats what matters... so I can't complain!

Just checked the list and yet another neighboring department received an award. Man am I going to hear about this next time I go to the fire Hall. Thanks to all that try to lift my spirits, but to me the truth is setting in. Too few awards left and too little time to those without an award notice.

Too few awards left?
There's over $320 MILLION dollars left to be awarded.
