Anybody migrated from Red Alert entry to Firehouse?
I'm researching the possibility of switching to Firehouse software from Alpine's Red Alert entry level system. I know FH has an import function but I am not sure of the names of all the fields.
Might it be possible that someone out there has done the migration and wrote down the list of names to properly convert all the data over? It would be a great help if someone could provide some technical assistance!

Firehouse tech support should be able to help you out. Having a problem with Red Alert? We're using the RedNMX enterprise setup with many modules and aren't having any issues.Captain/EMT-P

I'm not having issues with RedAlert, per se, but I'd like to track many of the records in more detail than the entry system allows. I've researched the costs of upgrading ($7k last time I got a quote) and found it to be higher than my Commissioners would allow (not to mention the high speed internet access for Alpine to load and run updates)
Firehouse came much more reasonable cost wise ($3,400), and was able to provide me a copy for evaluation (something Alpine has not done)
I am extremely happy with the Firehouse product, have started to migrate the data from RA, but Alpine names their stuff differently than FH, and according to FH support, Alpine has not been forthcoming with the names for conversion. I'm advised I'll have to figure it out myself (unfortunately) or find someone who might have converted it and notated the field names down (hence the reason for asking)
