What's a Firefighter confidence course? Never heard of one or TVFR having one.

There is a test. National Testing Network runs the tests for TVF&R.

Score high enough on that test and you get pulled for Chief's interviews. Then you have to take the CPAT, pass a medical and background before academy start date.

Anyone know if TVFR will ever move to a different test? I can't seem to break 85 with that d*mn Fireteam test. Ugh.

Just got a call from TVF&R, some people dropped out and I'm now scheduled for a chiefs interview Wednesday! There hiring 6 emt and 6 medics and took the top 30 for each. Super excited to have a chance to work for them!

2 weeks they are letting people know whether you are moving onto the CPAT/Background checks or not. Offer's are made in January

Had my interviews Wednesday and what a great group of men and women there at TVF&R. I shaved my moustache off before it because I was doing movember, but wanted to look clean cut, but when I went in all the men were growing moustaches for movember! Cracked me up.
