    Default Doug in AK...for now

I am currently in Alaska because my wife is in the Air Force and got stationed here. I served 6 years in the A.F but decided to get out and persue other things. I have started my EMT training by taking Alaska's version of First Responder. Hopefully I can start my EMT-B this summer and get that over with. I am not affiliated with any Department because I plan to move back to Indiana next summer. There I would like to be a volunteer FF/EMT. As for a job I am currently working on Base as the Safety Manager for Privatized Housing. When I relocate back to IN I will probably go back to being a lumberjack. I have been looking at trying to get some of the FF training done before I move. Since none of the Fire Depts here need help I can't seem to find training to do on my own. I guess that's about it.
