I'm looking for a good explanation on the difference between a "group" and a "unit" in ICS. I know that a group is functional, but why do some ICS charts show a triage unit. Why not make it a triage group?

Thank goodness for all that "clear text" crap."This thread is being closed as it is off-topic and not related to the fire industry." - Isn't that what the Off Duty forum was for?

I don't know.
The only good thing about ICS is that you report to 1 person, and you're not supposed to be keeping track of more than 8 things, or is it 6? Besides that it annoys and confuses me.
