oh by the way, that webpage for the commission is a great starting place but there are a lot of departments that don't submit their hiring to the commissions webpage.

Yeah, especially departments in and around the Fort Worth/Mid-cities area. At least that was the case back when I graduated from fire academy.

www.tml.org/ is another good job search site that has department posting that are often not posted on TCFP's employment page. It seems that the majority of the job postings found on TML are from rural to mid-size departments.
