Default HazMat app for iPhone or Blackberry

anyone using an app for their iphone or blackberry for HazMat or fire response?

seems like there is a great opportunity to use this technology for ERG and wind/plume modeling etc.

    be safe,

There are a few versions of the ERG on iTunes already.
    One of them is: http://www.freesql.org/apps/erg

I probably wouldn't want to anyway, being on your profile it indicates that you not yet 10 years old!!

My Lt. has the ERG App on his Iphone. While anytime we are on duty we have the ERG in our rigs, it's certainly not a bad thing to have for those off duty "just in case" scenarios.

I have the same thing. While it makes finding the entry for a substance/number much easier actually using the information page is harder. It essentially has the ERG page smooshed onto the iphone screen. You either get small font, or have to scroll. Also, I don't think the Green section is included.

We have another version on our MDT's that's much more useful.. mostly due to the size of the laptop screen. I forget the name off the top of my head, though.

wow..........Really the EGR was too big to Carry around in a Engine so We need to Shrink it to fit into a Iphone? Or was it because the book was too complicated to read?

I have an ERG Guide app for hazmat on my iphone.
