The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the City of Centralia, Illinois announces testing to establish an eligibility register for the Centralia Fire Department.

Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office, 222 South Poplar Street, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday beginning March 1, 2010. All applications must be returned no later than Monday, April 12, 2010 at 4:30 p.m..

Applicants must be age 21 at time of appointment, a high school graduate and a U.S. Citizen.

They should just use the last one. Don't think they hired anybody off that one, did they?

You know Chief, I don't really know. I know who the last one hired was but can't remember if that was off this last list or the one before. I thought they are supposed to redo the list every 3 years whether it is used or not but won't swear to that.
