    Default Rescue Boat

Does anyone know if a rescue boat- Small one not FDNY kind is an eligble item for AFG? If so is it considered OPS or Apparatus?

From last year's guidance, boats that do not have "firefighting capability" are not eligible under the equipment categories.

Fire Boats are listed as Priority 3 (not fundable) in the apparatus category.

Are you talking about an inflatable type for Swift Water Rescue? I would think that with the dollar value it would fall under equipment. Is this an existing capability or something you are looking to expand into as a new venture?
