Please take some time to remember the 146 people, mostly young women and girls, lost in the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire in NYC. .....this was the worst workplace tragedy in NYS up until Sept 11, 2001.....
This coming Thursday marks the 99th anniversary of this tragedy, and while there was such an impact on so many families, NY and the US would not be where it is today without the work of the Labor Department, which owes much of its' existence to this event.......
