Yea had a couple of winners this year and the one who got DJ'd this morning ( fire prevetion trailer) rushed his project at last minute and was not able to accomplsih what I told had to be done and it got rejected, as expected, for that very reason. At least he has the basis, and the reason/lesson now, of what needs to happen though.

Now if we can just get the AFG DJ's released.......

Why would we all not have received such a notice as of yet? Nothing received on the turn downs as of yet.

If you are referring to strictly the FP&S grant DJs then I suggest you wait 24 hours before saying you have not received one and also check for any email that may have been sent to your online application mailbox. If after checking 24 hours from now you still do not see a DJ then I would take that as a sign that perhaps you were going to be funded.

Just had our AFG workshop last night. Was told that the pg has not been approved yet, so they do not have a start date for this years AFG. They hope that it will be soon. They also hope to have the dj's out by the time the new app starts. We will see.

Company at tonight's AFG class said they got they're DJ last week for vehicle. Didn't make it through electronic review.

They are probably confusing the now infamous "Turndown Letter" that AFG released last week. No one has received a DJ notice as of right now for any project.Find it hard to beleive that the FPS conducting the session did not quash that rumor.

Kurt.....he's providing a copy of the letter and application to members of the Maryland Team to review. Already spoke to Regional rep and they're weren't sure why he got denied in electronic review. He's not new to grant writing so would say he knows a DJ letter since this is his third one for a vehicle.
