Red face Needl HELP with Rescue Truck Narrative

We would like to replace our Old Home Bread Truck with a legitamate Rescue Truck. All of the equipment, fans, gasoline and cribbing, are stored on open shelves and we sit on a plywood bench on the other side. Obviously dangerous!

Can you send me any successful AFG Naratives for rescue rigs please? Does not have to be for a huge rig but would like to have outside access to stored items.

    Send narratives to primgharfire@tcaexpress.net
    Thank you!!

Remember that unless you are an urban community, Rescue trucks are not Priority 1 vehicles.

I'll reiterate this statement. From the looks of mapquest, you're just north of where my dad's side of the family is from and urban shouldn't even be used in the same sentence as those parts of Iowa.

Your best alternative is going to be a rescue-style pumper or quick-attack. Depending on what all you're carrying, you may be able to pull it off with the compartment space available in one of those options.

If you have an existing pumper or brush truck that's old and needs replaced, you could show a benefit of replacing both with a unit that will serve both purposes. I've got a nearby department that's trying that right now, to get rid of an old pumper and an old rescue/service truck and combining the two. They'll benefit by removing two unsafe, antiquated, costly to maintain rigs from their fleet and have the ability to carry the equipment on a single, new apparatus that's designed for that purpose. While they haven't gotten the award yet, they recieve a final round DJ last year (if there's enough money you'll get awarded) and are still in limbo this year.
