We would like to replace our Old Home Bread Truck with a legitamate Rescue Truck. All of the equipment, fans, gasoline and cribbing, are stored on open shelves and we sit on a plywood bench on the other side. Obviously dangerous!
Can you send me any successful AFG Naratives for rescue rigs please? Does not have to be for a huge rig but would like to have outside access to stored items.
Please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org

If you look back at some of the older post, you will see that unless you are an urban department you have next to nada chance of getting just a rescue, you may want to look at a rescue pumper. BC79er has the only rescue that I know of, but I know there were one or two more that went to Maryland, and in California. But thats just my 2cents worth.

Heavy rescue has been 4, the one I did for the old-old department in 2002, one in MD (Hyattsville), one in CA to San Diego, and 1 in NJ last year on a rerun 2008 app that got a CDJ and was corrected. All were urban classification except for the one I did, we were suburban at the time. Rural has to go quick attack with rescue body or pumper with rescue body (ie, pumper to AFG) in order to get something with rescue focus. Have to need a brush/quick attack or pumper in the first place since current vehicles are measured against the request.

Gotta concurr with the others here. No chance at this asking for a rescue if you are classified as rural. BC79er has the right idea but stay away from language saying anything about "rescue".Kurt Bradley
