Power cots have been awarded as in post #2. Not all departments will provide their narratives to other departments; which is their prerogative.

    Looking for this as well.

Would be glad to trade successful 08 SCBA and/or 09 Turnout Gear (head-to-toe) narratives.

Very true..... while many of us are willing to help answer questions and give advice, some need to draw a line at sharing entire narratives. It makes sense when you figure that many write for several departments and charge for writing services, it wouldn't be fair to expect full narratives for free when another department was charged for it.......that being said, I've written several successful power cot grants and if you have questions....fire away...more than happy to help answer them!

Thanks to TotowaEMT for the narrative help!

My only other question is what's the max amount for powered cots? I saw $10,000 in onebugle's list but seems like all the list prices we've seen are $15,000-$17,000.

Don't want to shoot too high and get knocked out but also don't want to shoot too low and end up with a budget hit to make up the difference.

    Thanks.

Last year it was capped at 10K. We ended up getting the Stryker's and they came to almost 12k each so we shelled out about 4 k out of pocket but it was well worth it going from the old Ferno 35-A cots.

The ones I had funded were $12,000 without any reduction
