I already voted for Barney :-}
It was just a wild a@@ guess, the 23rd is a lucky number for me.
Thanks Jim for the good news.
LVFD will have to deliver the rope in person , in order to get his lobsters.
This is the 2nd bit of good news this week.
We finally got our new communications system up & on line this week. Mobile & portable radios from AFG in 07, pagers in 08 and now the piece de resistance a new town wide, voted receiver radio system for three departments. Even better than I had hoped to end up with as far as coverage and reception. We've spent many years developing an ideal system to get rid of the dead zones and weak spots.. The Tait equipment is top quality and works flawlessly.
Didn't have to sell any children or mortgage the farm to get it either. :-}
Unlike some folks that are being force into overpriced systems that won't work any better.

Jim,
I thought I saw in the fine print that the winner had to supply the forum members the delicacy from that region. So islandfire owes us all lobsters.

For you Andy No problem. I'll supply a true delicacy. Fresh Whores eggs from casco bay.
They must be a delicacy since the Japanese pay so much for them. Just stop by next time you take your daughter back to school. :-}
The locals don't think of "bugs " as a delicacy, they'd rather go to town and get colonel flanders fried seagull.

Let's see what delicacies do I have in Nebraska?
Hmmm! Hey I'm still thinking.
(Omaha beef maybe)
