Default Foam Nozzles (Solid Stick Cartridges)

We are working up a wish list and contemplating one of these I came across in a Darley catalogue. What do you guys think about their performance?

I'd look at the units from Scotty (not POK). A fraction of the price and US made.

You're not actually going to order from eDarley or Darley catalog are you (full retail, or higher, prices). Contact a fire equipment dist. for a demo.

I saw one demonstrated at a fire school. I actually was quite impressed with the faom they made. Simple to operate and damn near fool proof.

The Scotty system works well too. My volly FD used the jugs that attach to the end of either a garden hose or 1 inch forestry line. They also made great foam and were very easy to operate. They used standard Class A foam.

    Default Foam Nozzles

Our FD recently did research on the Scotty Foam System. Here is the Scotty website:
    www.scottyfire.com

We researched price quotes from different vendors. Scotty has many distributors of their products. Some are Danko, Heiman, national firefighter.com, etc.

We had borrowed a scotty foam system and used it for a controlled wildland fire. It worked great. We are looking at obtaining more of their equipment.

    Thanks guys!

No, we weren't ordering from the Darley book, just working up the prices for a grant that we are working on for truck equipment. We do have a foam eduction nozzle on the old pumper, but the new truck we got is lacking a bit on equipment.

To clarify. I was suggesting looking at Scotty's new solid stick equipment.
