Hey all,
I recently purchased a pair of Lowa Baffins for my upcoming seasonal gig on a usfs engine. I've gone hiking in them twice so far to break them in, and they seem to be causing me shin splints. I know it's from these boots because I've gone hiking before and running in my sneakers and haven't had any problems. Does anyone have any tips on how to reduce these shin splints, or prevent them altogether? I've researched this online but they all seem to suggest getting new shoes, which aren't really an option because I can't return them since I've already hiked in them twice. Are there any insoles, etc that might help?
Thanks.
