I'm obviously new here, I just registered at Houston Community College - NE Campus to take the Basic Firefighter Certification class starting June 7th. I thought I'd come here for networking opportunities and to have questions answered that I can't find the answer to myself (hello, "search button"). I've been going to the University of Houston for the past three years, but my Dad passed away in November, and I found out my wife was pregnant a couple of weeks ago with our second child (for which we were not planning for), so I've decided to pursue a dream that I've had since I was 18 before it's too late and I've already graduated with a degree and am working a job that I hate because I have to in order to support my family. So that's me...or at the very least a small excerpt of my life.

It's all Lone Star now, I haven't see a Pearl beer can since I was a kid. Lone Star and Shiner are pretty much the only beer I drink though.
