I was having a discussion with the other FF's on my shift about Containment vs Confinement when it comes to Haz-mat. Everything that we looked up said Containment and/or Confinement. Is there a difference. If there is what is it.

Containment usally means it has already left its intended container (truck, tank, drum). Confinement usally means it is in a secure container of some sort (truck, tank, overpack). These can also mean different things in different locals.
