Hiring in MA question

Hello. I received two cards in MA in the past month for two different departments. I went down last month and signed one card that I will accept a job down there if I am offered one. I have the interview next week.

Today I went to the other city as I got the card after the interview was set up for the first one and was going to sign that list that I will accept but held off because someone in HR said I can not be competing for two different cities at the same time. Does anyone know this if this is true? Who would I call to verify this information? All I got was a card from this city, nothing definate saying here is an interview or anything just a card to sign the list. Thanks for the help!

Did someone from HRD (state) tell you that you couldn't compete for two cities at the same time or HR at that specific town. HRD is the only place that I could think of to ask.

By the way, are you interviewing with Cambridge this monday? If so, I am as well.
