AFG Turnout Gear Narrative Help

Hi Guys,
I'm in need of some help if you'd be willing... our department has some turnout gear that is 25+ years old in service, and some of our newer gear was damaged in a creasote fire. We can't afford to replace more than a couple of sets a year. I'm trying to write a grant to help us.

I'd like to see a couple of recent winning narratives for turnouts (and washers) if anyone is willing to share. I need to get our guys out of this old gear and away from the creasote...

I saw one departments submitted narratives for three years for PPE and SCBA yesterday.

It was a whole three sentences long.

What is so funny is that my first successful grant narrative for ems ppe was one paragraph. Must have got peer at end of the day.

I did see a truck awarded in one paragraph. I would have been surprised if it had gotten through the mail, much less awarded.

Thanks for sending me yours, I really appreciate it. I want to be sure we have a polished and complete narrative, hopefully it will work out for us. Gotta get these guys out of the carcinogenic old stuff.

Are there any others out there? I'm looking for one that includes a gear washer...
