Question TOO Weird Even for the Weird Thread

U.K. woman dies of toilet brush in buttock

By Staff Reporter, The Province May 19, 2010 6:45 AM

A young British mother died after doctors failed to spot a 15-centimetre-long toilet brush handle embedded in her buttock, a judiclal enquiry has revealed.

According to The Sun, a judicial investigation into the death of 35-year-old Cindy Corton was told Tuesday the woman suffered the injury after a drunken fall in a friend's bathroom in 2005.

The woman went to Lincoln County and Grantham hospitals for help but medical staff did not discover the injury, despite taking an X-ray.

Two years later, medical staff identified the long toilet-brush handle sliver, but by that time it had become embedded in her pelvis.

After two unsuccessful operations in 2007, the mother of one was in such agony that she agreed to undergo further surgery in June last year despite being told it could prove fatal.

Corton died following surgery due to massive blood loss.

The investigation found doctors who first saw her made "serious errors."

"It was a significant foreign object," said West Lincolnshire coroner Stuart Fisher. "It is difficult to image anything more significant."

Corton's husband, Peter, 61, is taking legal action against United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust.

Once had a sliver of wood in my butt from sliding across a picnic table... Dr removed it, 13 inches long and unbroken.

I bet a brush handle feels worse though.

Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

ER doctors hear "I was drinking and fell and that's how this 10" sex toy/lightbulb/toilet plunger got stuck up my arse."all this time.
This one would seem to blow the story I have about a guy having a heart attack at a massage parlor out of the water.
