    Default Rescue ME new season

Just saw the promo for the new season, any thoughts?
Am I being effective in my efforts or am I merely showing up in my fireman costume to watch a house burn down? (Joe Brown, www.justlookingbusy.wordpress.com)

I really like the show, tho I don't really watch it for the firefighting aspect, but it does enhance its appeal to me. Adam Ferarra and Dennis Leary are some funny guys.

That is the best cast, and funniest show I have seen in a long time. The middle few seasons dealt way to much with drama. I hope they stick to what works, sarcasm and dick jokes.

D@mmit!!!! I was watching this and then dropped it a couple of years ago when a season ended and forgot to pick it back up. Now I've got to jump back in and try to figure out what the h3!! has happened.

Anybody find it funny that a show about firefighters has a character played by an actor with the last name of Ferrara?

Look, the new season is too much about personal problems and demons. They have got to get back to what what made it great. So far there is practically nothing happening in the station, but scenes going back and forth between Tommy's family and the tensions and struggles between them. Just like all the rest of the phony drama's on TV now. Seems they lost the original writers.

I'm wondering where they're putting all those people on the truck. I count 8 people.

    Tommy
    Mike
    Sean
    Franco
    Shawn
    Lou
+ the driver whose name I don't know
    + the probie (Tommy's nephew).

They're running a truck and an engine out of that house aren't they?

Yeah, but they all seem to be on the same crew.

All the main characters are on 62 Truck. If I remember right, the truck's cab has two rear-facing seats and 4 front-facing seats, two of which might be jump seats. Add the driver (Niels) and Lou, and it can carry 8. Also there's often a guy from the Truck driving the BC's Suburban.

They do run a truck, engine, and battalion out of there, but it's kinda strange how you really never see the engine crew except on calls. It's like they have quarters all their own, completely separate from the truck crew. For the bunk room and locker room this makes enough sense, but it's like they don't even share the kitchen, day room, or anything else but the bay.

What was the apparatus that the cancer kid took on a wild spin with Lou flying around inside?

They probably make the engine guys hang out in the basement.

That was the Pierce aerial, Ladder 62.

I clicked through a couple of episodes last night and it looks like I was wrong, there's only 4 full seats in back, no jump seats.

Not a FDNY piece of apparatus. They are TV show apparatus, most if not all private owned.
