PLEASANT GROVE -- A car fire damaged a Pleasant Grove family's garage Tuesday evening.

Authorities say the homeowner heard a loud noise in the garage around 7:30 p.m., went to investigate and found her car burning. She called emergency crews. When they arrived, flames had spread to another vehicle and nearly everything else inside the garage.
Crews extinguished the fire before it reached inside the home. The house suffered some smoke damage. Crews estimate total damage in excess of $100,000. No one was injured in the fire.
