Only 7 days
That would be that you guys only work 7 and sometimes 8 days a month, awesome!

Openings
Do you have any openings now or are you just establishing a list?

We have one immediate opening. This will be a good list to be on. We are currently trying to expand our current staffing. Potential for maybe 3 more hires off the same list.

ALS agency
Are you guys an ALS or BLS agency?
Do you transport or do you contract that out?
Thanks for being so helpful RFA451!

ALS with cross-staffing on all units. The career stations have a Captain, Engineer, and Paramedic. We are a dual response system with AMR as a contracting transport agency. Look at the links in earlier posts and it will help answer the majority of your questions.

I think we have about 4 applications submitted so far with less than two weeks left to go. Pretty good odds for getting hired. Start getting your paperwork completed we want a good testing pool. Reply with any questions for me.

I'd love to apply, but unfortunately I've only had my medic for a few months, and don't meet the 1 year requirement...

I would still apply. With such low numbers they might take all applicants. There is always a chance of getting hired later and you will have a year experience by then. This list will probably be good for two years.
