    Talking Need Engineer SOG help

    My department recently promoted people to the engineer position. This is a new position for our department. I am looking for SOG's / SOP's relating to this new position. We all know of course our primary responsibility is getting our crew to the call safetly and pumping all the lines at the right pressure but is there anything out there that details other responsibilities? Our department has basicly left it up to us the first 6 to get it figured out. Any help is appreciated.

    Here in Fairfax County, Apparatus Technicians operate the heavy apparatus' (Engines, Trucks, Towers, Rescues and the HazMat Unit). Here is a link to the Class Spec for Technician. Look specifically under the 'Apparatus' heading...
