Search Dog

I am on the Technical Rescue Team and have finally recieved the support of our Chiefs to acquire a search dog. My chief has asked me to do some research and see what other department policies are like. Does anyone have search dogs as part of their department that are allowed at the station? If so what is your department's policy on having a dog there while on duty? Are you willing to send me a copy to assist in developing my departments SOP?
