I have a question, I had my phone interview yesterday and they went ahead and offered me the job. now I have to wait to get my medical packet and they told me i could be leaving late july early aug. So once i leave houston what happens? and when i get In Country how do they transport us FF's to our base? is it by Plane, convoy, etc?

Up-Armored Camel with a "Ma Duce" strapped to its head for protection.

A comfortable box. Make sure you bring something soft to sit on. And some water....just kidding...but seriously.

It will depend greatly on what base you get sent to. Some bases you will have to fly milair, such as a blackhawk or Chinook. Some bases you will have to ride the Rhino in a convoy. And other's you just get on a plane. Then again, you might get assigned to the BTC and you could walk over. It's not bad. Conditions were pretty good for most bases when I left. And they only got better for the base I was at. Good luck Brother.
