Default New Pro-tech 8 Fusion Gloves

Has anyone been able to use or at least try on a pair of the new Pro-tech 8 fusion gloves?

I was just about to order my second pair of the Titan K as a spare when I noticed the "fusion". I can tell you that the Titan k's are fantastic! Dexterity is one of the best I have ever seen, and are holding up very well. The fusions are supposed to be structural, wildland, and extrication all in one. I will be calling them soon to inquire more about them. If I get more info or get a pair I will reply here.

From talking to a gentleman at Tech-Trade it sounds like the dexterity will be about the same as the Titans. The price is significantly reduced by using non trademarked materials in place of Nomex in some areas. The reinforcements have moved a little compared to the titans. The gloves will be much easier to don and doff when wet due to a new liner. These will be slightly lighter in weight than the titans. These look really promising, especially at the price they are at.

I put them on at FDIC and they very much reminded me of the original Pro Techs (I still wear them, had a couple pair stashed). I'm very excited to see how they perform once we can get our hands on them, especially at the lower price point.

I have had a pair of the original Pro Tech 8 gloves, the new Titan-K gloves and the new X-trication gloves they make and I have loved all of them. The new Titan-K's are well worth the money and I have yet to find a better glove on the market!

I ordered a pair of long cuffs through Illinois Fire Store for $55 I think, the short cuffs were $50. Shipping was high for a single pair of gloves though.

Seen them at $49.95 for the short cuff, I think you'll find them a little less once the market saturates.
